Mayweather vs. Ortiz: The Awaiting Event

Watch Mayweather vs Ortiz Live this upcoming September 17, 2011 will be the most awaiting fight between two excellent fighters in boxing namely “Vicious” Victor Ortiz and Floyd “Money” Mayweather Jr...Their fight will be held at MGM Grand, Staples Center where all of the boxing fans will be there to witness the hard punches of every boxer in the ring. Will the fight end in a knockout or be based in the score cards of the judges? I think one of them will be knocked out as these two fighters have their own unique styles in boxing that had already knockdown several opponents in the ring.

You can expect a lot in the event that these two great fighters will give you the excitement and thrills you want. Will both of them be in their best condition in their upcoming fight? Mayweather had trained hard so that he can beat Ortiz but will this be enough? On his training camp, he gives it all and he is serious on what he is doing. I think there is a great possibility that he can knock out Ortiz even boxing analysts predict that he will win the fight.

Meanwhile on Ortiz camp, he also trained hard just like Mayweather and he will prove that he can stand the punches of Floyd. He will do what it takes to bring down the undefeated boxer. There are a lot of people waiting who will stain the record of Mayweather. Will it be Ortiz who is a southpaw fighter? I think he can do it if he will persevere on their upcoming fight. There is no impossible in boxing, as long as you’re ready to fight and win.
I know that this stunning event will not be missed by the boxing fans as they are certain that this will give them the excitement they have looking for.  So, watch the upcoming fight of Floyd Mayweather vs Ortiz online.

May 7 It Is: UNSTOPPABLE!

Remember when Erik Morales unexpectedly made people’s jaws across the continent and the world drop when he manually obliterated the fact that after all is said and done, he will surely get defeated after passing under the knuckles of Marcos Maidana? Instead, he buckled up a right eye shut in order to give a big and spectacular performance after receiving his second KO to Manny Pacquiao.

It’s absolutely true that Morales was no longer the angry bull who aced the super bantamweight and featherweight divisions at the turn of the century. He’s way past his prime, thanks to the fact that he is in his mid thirties, like he’s hours from retirement and ugh, a receding hairline. That’s just usual for an aging boxer to get defeated isn’t it? But will the same thing be true for Sugar Shane Mosley on his fight against Manny Pacquiao on May 7? An 18-year veteran in professional boxing, he showed the world a considerable feat in the turning tides of the sport, his flair, his flawless performance, most of all, his speed. He defied clichés in a world where more than half of his contemporaries retire before they reach their 20th professional fight.

Heavens, the good ‘ol prime boxer isn’t getting any younger guys, look at the time, and his age; with Pacquiao, he will be up against the ultimate pound for pound king of today’s time who would probably pay homage to the gods of victory soon enough as one of the best fighters of all time. What Pacquiao should worry about is the fact that despite his age, Mosley is quite resilient, durable, and really tough, just like a meat jerky. And nobody had ever stopped his tracks.

Enough comparison for both fighters, so the next time you pop the kernels in the microwave or sit on pay-per-view theaters or movie houses, which means betting a dinner or a case of bear for Filipinos, and betting a shirt for other races, ay attention to this: the best fighter wins, one thing is for sure. Yet the gaiety that they bring to cause each race, creed, and color sit together in a day to watch their fight, it’s more than enough for them to be called the heroes of today. Think about it. And while you’re thinking, check out Fight Camp 360, where the ultimate live fight will be witnessed on May 7, online of course. By the way, as the biggest fight of the year, Pacquiao vs Mosley will be dubbed, the UNSTOPPABLE!

Ariza Denies Pacquiao Knocks Out Sparring Partner

The Filipino champion Manny Pacquiao 52-3-2, 38 KOs) performed an exceptional 8 rounds of sparring on Tuesday with three separate sparring partners and that’s according to his strength-and-conditioning coach Alex Ariza, adding that the boxing icon still looks great and shows no signs of slowing down.

For anyone who hasn’t known about it, Alex Ariza takes charge of Pacquiao’s workout at the Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles, California sans Freddie Roach who flew to Manchester earlier this week to oversee developments of Amir Khan’s upcoming fight.

Ariza revealed to the media men, “Pacquiao is doing really, really well. He sparred three rounds with welterweight Karim “Hard Hitta” Mayfield (13-0-1, 8 KOs) and three rounds with another welterweight prospect Shawn “Showtime” Porter, plus two rounds with long-time sparring partner, lightweight Raymund “Sugar” Beltran”. With those hardy sparring partners, who would have believed Pacquiao still stands up and can even joke around to lighten up the mood of his training? That’s the true spirit of a boxer, no more, no less.

Albeit everything else, Ariza bluntly denied an earlier report on the internet that Pacquiao shook the consciousness out of Shawn Porter, stating that whatever word went out exaggerating Pacquiao’s skills, well, nothing’s true about it. He didn’t even have a single idea who first started the spark of allegations but he assured the public that the brief comic relief was not at all true. He marveled at the fact that Shawn Porter is a sturdy and tough fighter, and he’s still standing.

Ariza also noted that Pacquiao is by far stronger than any fighter he handled. “We’ve been doing more strength work, plyometrics (a type of exercise training designed to produce fast, powerful movements) and isometrics this week and in the next two weeks we will see a big and strong Manny.”

Well fans, a few more weeks and you’ll all wake up to bets and excitement as to who will emerge the next boxing king for the fight. Get loaded with juicy tidbits and watch Pacquiao vs Mosley only here.

Which Side Are You Anyway? Pacquiao vs Mosley fight a Hoax?

Boxing fans outwardly spoke disapproval about Manny Pacquiao’s upcoming fight with Sugar Shane Mosley. And why wouldn’t they? Sugar Shane Mosley is hours away from the twilight of his prime and has not even entertained fans by producing even one exciting match for years now. Going back again, Mosley’s latest two fights had been quite lackluster and he is already showing obvious signs of an aging boxer. During Mosley’s fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr., the world witnessed him cut short of stamina and the rate of punches which he threw to “Money”. Although at one point or another, he has hurt Mayweather Jr. in round 2, he did not have enough endurance and stamina to finish him off. His battle with Sergio Mora has been a little less spectacular just like before.

For fans, it seemed a bit boring. Unless I have a friend who runs a pay-per-view system, I’ll just sit back and wait until they telecast the fight the following week on cable or just stream it on the internet. I’d rather not waste time and money betting and cheering on a fight that will only make me yawn and perhaps even doze off to sleep. Manny Pacquiao clearly deserves a better match than the famed Sugar, he needs someone to match his strength, and not some underdog who is hours from having a receding hairline. But even if fans around the world are cowering over the act that this fight may be a bit distasteful, nothing has ever stopped Top Rank and its head of promotions Bob Arum to rev up and sell the fight to those who want it. They will be streaming video clips of Mosley’s highlights and him hurting Mayweather Jr., perhaps trying to convince boxing enthusiasts that the Pacquaio vs Mosley fight will be one for the road. And you’ve guessed it right. The average boxing fan would fall for the bait and immediately wad cash for the PPV fight. What can we do, every good thing has its own dark face.

Mosley Still Has Killer Punch, Arum Reveals Supposed Lineup

Watch Pacquiao vs Mosley Fight - Before everything else, and before Manny Pacquiao dropped ends to fight Sugar Shane Mosley, and in the wake of the negotiations with Floyd Mayweather Jr., which also failed the second time around, considering there was actually a negotiation which took place, the boxing champs arranged to line up to Paquiao were in proper order: Marquez, Berto, and Mosley. Most boxing fans preferred to witness Pacquiao fight against Berto, who was undisputedly undefeated and who is in fact at the prime of his boxing career. A single win against Berto would definitely have further cemented Pacquiao’s status symbol as the no. 1 pound-for-pound king.

Meanwhile, Shane Mosley is gradually getting a bit old and this is tangible in his last two fights which went lackluster and poorly done. And Bob Arum clearly is eager to see these two champions lock gloves.

Whatever that may be, no one can deny that Mosley is still one such dangerous fighter.

Plus, his years of wear and tear could never be dismissed. Mosley is also famous and renowned to single-handedly knockout his opponent which may risk Pacquiao flying to the canvass, if he gets a little backfired. That is one such good reason why Pacquiao won’t ever take him like soft mallows on hot cocoa, sweet and understated. He knows for certain that the Sweet One has got X factor to deliver one killer punch to instant KO. Don't forget the date to unstoppable fight for Pacquiao vs Mosley, it's May 7, 2011.

Pacquiao Arrives in LA, Church Obligations First Hand

Watch Pacquiao vs Mosley Fight - After arduous trainings in high-altitude boot camp in Baguio City, which simulated the climate in the Pacific Region in the US, Manny Pacquiao flew back to Los Angeles to continue the last leg of his training for the May 7 fight against Sugar Shane Mosley, MGM Grand Arena. But despite the round-the-clock molding supposedly of the best fighter in the boxing ring ever, what’s beautiful about the spirit athlete is that he never forgets his obligations to his faith. Manny Pacquiao was seen attending the Holy Mass at the Christ the King Church with his family.

Having a busy schedule never prevented the pound-for-pound sensation to be on time for church obligations, although he arrived shortly after the celebration started. Msgr. Paul Montoya who was the mass celebrant recognized the boxing champ and even mentioned his presence during the homily. And as a minister, he also did not fail to give his blessings and wished success for Pacquiao on his upcoming fight. As an icon, he did not finish the mass and sneaked out just minutes before it commended.

Last Saturday, with a fleet of escorts, Manny Pacquiao arrived as discreet as possible at the Los Angeles International Airport. As expected, most fans and the media ended up disappointed after he used the diplomatic gate to flee from snapshots and people who wait for him.

As a member of The House of Representatives in the Philippines, Pacquiao now bears a diplomatic passport and as such, he is then entitles to all the privileges in any airport including the VIP gate. This one so far is his second flight to the states after he was sworn to office as congressman.

So the next time you see Jerry Bruckheimer or Jolie-Pitt clan or even Sarah Palin at the airport, don’t fret, they’re VIP, with high end security, just like the People’s Champ.
